| GERMAN
V-2 ROCKET |
| The V-2 was a first early ballistic missile used by Germany during the later stages of World War II against British targets. |
| One V-2 rocket lost by Germans during test firing in Poland was found by Polish Homeland Army. They hid the rocket in the river. Later, a secret "Operation Most III (Bridge)" was organised by our Polish Intelligence in London in conjunction with Polish Underground, and parts of the captured rocket, as well as the analysis and sketches, were flown from occupied Poland to England. |
